MARCH SESSION                   MARCH 26, 2020                    SPECIAL MEETING

 11:00 a.m. The board convened with Commissioners Skip Brandt, Denis Duman and Mark Frei and Kathy Ackerman, Clerk present.

The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Commissioner Duman offered an opening prayer.

Kirk MacGregor advises that the order doesn’t really differ from our understanding yesterday-advises that he feels that each department needs to assess what services they need to continue as essential-discussion. Sheriff Giddings advises that he sent out an email to his staff concerning enforcement of the Stay Home order-they will be encouraging folks to comply-may have to enforce if there is a blatant case of someone who is positive.

Ackerman advises that clarification is needed so employees know how to complete timesheets and when utilizing accrued time will be required-discussion.

Commission meetings for regular business operations will continue.

Discussion regarding using drop boxes-signs are up advising the Courthouse is closed with a phone directory of offices-each office can decide how they want to handle essential services.

Discussion regarding processes for various situations concerning notifying the Commissioners in the event an employee tests positive.

Giddings updates regarding agreement with BLM to deal with the numbers of people who are flocking to Short’s Bar and other areas on the Salmon-discussion.
