The Idaho County Road Department is looking to hire a full-time Road Maintenance Technician. The starting pay is $ 25.28 per hour DOE, plus an exceptional benefits package. This position will perform routine road maintenance, snow removal, and equipment operation and maintenance.  Applicants must be available for nighttime and weekend duties as required. The job combines outdoor fieldwork with mechanical work, including identifying and treating noxious weeds, applying herbicides/pesticides, operating trucks and ATVs/RTVs, maintaining spray equipment, GPS mapping, recordkeeping, and minor vehicle repairs.
