JANUARY SESSION            January 19, 2010                    THIRD TERM DAY

 

            The Board met at 1:00 p.m with Jim Rehder and James Rockwell, commissioners and Rose Gehring, Clerk, present.  Skip Brandt absent.

 

            1:00 p.m.          Jim made motion to enter into executive session I C 31-874 for indigent claims.  James seconded.  Motion carried.  Roll call taken.

            1:10 p.m.          Ended.  Regular session resumed.

            Title III and II funds.  Skip via phone – James made motion to amend agenda for Title III & II funding.  Jim seconded.  Motion carried with all in favor.  Discussion followed.

            Skip made motion to send $50,000 of Title II funding to Southern RAC and to support airport project and send remaining Title II funds to North Central RAC.  James seconded.  Motion carried with all in favor.  Jim will notify forest service regarding the decision.

 

            1:40 p.m.          James made motion to enter into executive session I C 67-2345(e).  Jim seconded.  Motion carried.  Roll call taken.

            1:50 p.m.          Ended.  Regular session resumed.

 

            Mike Cook re: airport – discussed AWOS – capital investments – ALP – land acquisitions for FAA funding.
