9:00 a.m. The board convened with Commissioners Skip Brandt, Ted Lindsley, Denis Duman and Bette Polack, Deputy Clerk present.
The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Commissioner Duman offered an opening prayer.
9:00 a.m. Brandt regarding reason for Special Meeting and concerns about the Participating Agreement between County of Idaho and the USDA, Forest Service Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests. Deputy Forest Supervisor Kathy Bushnell, Administrative Officer Joslynn Osborn-Gains , Good Neighbor Agreement Coordinator Sara Alberts, and Idaho County Fire Mitigation Officer Sandi Paul are present. Forest Supervisor- Cheryl Probert is via phone.
Brandt thanks everyone for the hard work throughout the weekend to come up with this agreement-discussion regarding the revisions.
Duman moves to include the transmittal letter with the Participating Agreement. Brandt seconds. Motion carries with all in favor.
Lindsley questions on terms of the financial part of the agreement and what the County would be responsible for. Sara Alberts explains the County’s responsibilities-these are addressed in the transmittal.
Brandt moves to approve Participating Agreement between Idaho County and the USDA, Forest Service Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests #23-PA-11011700-065 including transmittal letter from September 28th by Cheryl Probert. Duman seconds. Motion carries with all in favor.
