Idaho County Recycling is a volunteer- led organization, which has operated since 2009, and is not subsidized or staffed by the County.

GRANGEVILLE:  Saturdays: 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Located on the west side of Day Road, immediately north of the intersection of Highway 95/Grangeville Truck Route. Map.

Location: Old Pole Yard: north end of Thenon St; across bridge on B St, then right on Thenon.  Map.

RECYCLING TIPS (sort by category)

TIN & ALUMINUM CANSRINSED; lids can be attached, but no loose lids.  (NO aluminum foil, aerosols, paint, hydrocarbon, fuel, pesticide or herbicide containers.)

NEWSPAPER:  Newspaper, inserts, magazines and paperback books.

CARDBOARD:  Cardboard (all types), brown paper sacks, cereal and food boxes, beverage cases, cardboard tubes and egg cartons. Box tape and staples are okay. Boxes must be flattened.  (NO wax lined boxes foil or Styrofoam)

IDAHO COUNTY RECYCLING CANNOT ACCEPT GLASS OR TRASH!

  • MIXED PAPER Office Paper, Mail, Colored Paper, Greeting Cards, PAPERBACK BOOKS, Shredded Paper, Wrapping Paper & Tissue Paper (no foiled paper) Office Paper, Mail, Colored Paper, Greeting Cards, PAPERBACK BOOKS, Shredded Paper, Wrapping Paper & Tissue Paper (no foiled paper) CARDBOARD All types, staples/tape okay
  • Newspaper, Catalogs inserts & Magazines ONLY
  • Tin & Aluminum cans.  NO pie tins or tin foil.  Cans should be rinsed & with no loose lids
  • Cardboard.  All types, Staples/Tape okay
