NOVEMBER SESSION     NOVEMBER 23, 2021      FOURTH TERM DAY

9:00 a.m. The board convened with Commissioners Skip Brandt, Ted Lindsley and Denis Duman and Kathy Ackerman, Clerk present.

The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Commissioner Duman offered an opening prayer.

Todd Fiske, Mountain View School District Superintendent, introduces himself and provides update on activities of the district.  Discussion regarding school funding opportunities, communication with the public regarding decisions the district is making, on-boarding three new trustee members in January and teacher salaries.

9:30 a.m. Duman updates regarding Roby Road Bridge-advises that they are waiting on some engineering work before the project can start.  Contract with Cook & Sons has been reviewed by Matt Jessup.  Duman moves to approve the agreement.  Lindsley seconds.  Motion carries with all in favor.

9:45 a.m.  Mike Cook regarding agreement with JUB for the Airport Taxilane.  Duman moves to approve the agreement.  Lindsley seconds.  Motion carries with all in favor.

Cook updates regarding Lucile Federal Lands Access Program funding-deadline is in early December, so he is working on a proposal-discussion.

Cook updates regarding Life Flight traffic-significant increase over the past year.

Cook updates regarding Pittsburg Landing Campground project-may need to ask for an extension in order to get the work done.

10:00 a.m. Kelly and Lesli regarding claims FY21:

11:30 a.m. Brandt moves to approve the Orders for Cancellation as per Abbie Hudson.  Lindsley seconds.  Motion carries with all in favor.

Brandt moves to approve the voided check.  Duman seconds.  Motion carries with all in favor.

Brandt moves to approve the minutes of the November 16 meeting.  Duman seconds.  Motion carries with all in favor.

Brandt moves to approve the hiring of Mary Lycan as the temporary replacement employee in the Road Department.  Lindsley seconds.  Motion carries with all in favor.
