 9:00 a.m. The board convened with Commissioners Ted Lindsley and Denis Duman and Bette Polack, Deputy Clerk present.  Commissioner Skip Brandt is absent attending the WIR Conference.

The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Commissioner Duman offered an opening prayer.

9:05 a.m. Mike Cook regarding Notice of Award for the Airport sealcoat project-previously awarded to CR Contracting, LLC-this is the official notification-discussion.  Notice of Award signed. Duman moves to approve notice of award for Idaho County Airport sealcoat. Lindsley seconds. Motion carries with Duman and Lindsley in favor. Brandt absent.

9:15 a.m. Brian Hewson presents request for the purchase of 16 new eCitation systems with grant funding from the Office of Highway Safety-discussion. Lindsley moves to approve the purchase.  Duman seconds.  Motion carries with Duman and Lindsley in favor.  Brandt is absent.

Hewson requests approval for the purchase of new transport van needed in the jail-discussion.   Duman moves to approve the purchase of transport van.  Lindsley seconds.  Motion carries with Duman and Lindsley in favor.  Brandt is absent.

Hewson advises that one of their patrol vehicles needs a transmission repair-presents estimate for repair-discussion.  Duman moves to approve the repair as presented.  Lindsley seconds.  Motion carries with Duman and Lindsley in favor.  Brandt is absent.

Hewson requesting to sell Nez Perce County a 1996 Utility trailer-discussion. Duman moves to approve the sale to Nez Perce County for $4000.00. Lindsley seconds. Motion carries with Duman and Lindsley in favor. Brandt is absent.

Duman moves to award the properties to Rad Mulching for Bean Project, Tyler Williams for Melgin Project and Finley Tree Service for the Manning Project. Lindsley seconds.  Motion carries with Lindsley and Duman in favor. Brandt is absent.

9:45 a.m. Megan Turner, Assessor’s Office Appraiser, regarding two casualty losses due to fire, Alana Melgin & Mason and Jason Kingsley-discussion.  Duman moves to approve two casualty losses.  Lindsley seconds.  Motion carries with Duman and Lindsley in favor.  Brandt is absent.

10:00 a.m. Zane Lathim, Idaho Department of Lands, regarding the Saraceno Land Exchange-advises that this exchange will benefit Idaho County-discussion.  Commission advises to please keep them updated as the exchange moves forward.

10:15 a.m. Duman moves to approve the Minutes of the April 23 meeting.  Lindsley seconds.  Motion carries with Duman and Lindsley in favor.  Brandt is absent.

Duman moves to approve the Order of Cancellation as per Abbie Hudson.  Lindsley seconds.  Motion carries with Duman and Lindsley in favor.  Brandt is absent.

Duman moves to approve the request for Courthouse closure on July 5. Lindsley seconds.  Motion carries with Duman and Lindsley in favor.  Brandt is absent.

Duman moves to approve the wage increases for Sheriff’s Office employees Stephanie Babb, Colton Cervantes, Sean Nelson, Mike Kindrick, Kareena Haight, and Baylee Robinson. Lindsley seconds.  Motion carries with Duman and Lindsley in favor.  Brandt is absent.

Duman moves to approve the Alcoholic Beverage License for Keuterville Pub. Lindsley seconds.  Motion carries with Duman and Lindsley in favor.  Brandt is absent.

Moves to approve Additional meetings request for Duman for the Idaho Association of Counties Board Meeting. Lindsley seconds. Motion carries with Duman and Lindsley in favor. Brandt absent.

Duman moves to approve the Avista Service Agreement for the new jail. Lindsley seconds.  Motion carries with Duman and Lindsley in favor.  Brandt is absent.
