10:30 a.m. The board convened with Commissioners Skip Brandt, Jim Chmelik and James Rockwell and Kathy Ackerman, Clerk present.

 

The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

10:30 a.m. Brandt moves to go into Executive Session pursuant to IC 67-2345(f). Chmelik seconds. Roll call-all in favor.

 

11:30 a.m. End Executive Session.

 

11:33 a.m. Brandt moves to go into Indigent proceedings pursuant to IC 31-874. Chmelik seconds. Roll call-all in favor.

11:43 a.m. End Indigent

 

12:00 p.m. Break for lunch.

 

1:00 p.m. Board reconvenes.

 

Rockwell moves to approve the minutes of the February 28 meeting. Chmelik seconds. Motion carries with all in favor.

 

Discussion with James Zehner regarding funding for County Road Department and Highway Districts when SRS funding is lost.

 

1:30 p.m. Conference call regarding the appeal of the Clearwater National Forest Travel Plan-Rick Brazell, Forest Supervisor, along with Clearwater County Commissioners and Clearwater County Prosecutor all on the line. Brazell advises what the process will be-advises that there are about 20 appeals filed and each party will be given an opportunity to review their appeal with the Forest Service. Clayne Tyler, Clearwater County Prosecutor, summarizes their appeal. Kirk MacGregor presents Idaho County’s position. Discussion.
