8:30 a.m. The board convened with Commissioners Skip Brandt and Mark Frei and Kathy Ackerman, Clerk present. Denis Duman is absent.
The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Commissioner Frei offered an opening prayer.
Brandt regarding agreement for increased Internet speed with First Step. Frei moves to approve the First Step agreement amendment. Brandt seconds. Motion carries with Brandt and Frei in favor. Duman is absent. Discussion regarding Internet and computer services in the Courthouse.
8:45 a.m. Frei moves to approve the Clearwater Water District Request for Funds. Brandt seconds. Motion carries with Brandt and Frei in favor. Duman is absent.
9:00 a.m. Canvass of vote for the March 13 Election
9:10 a.m. Canvass complete-Frei moves to approve the canvass as presented. Brandt seconds. Motion carries with Brandt and Frei in favor. Duman is absent.
9:18 a.m. Frei moves to approve the minutes of the March 13 meeting. Brandt seconds. Motion carries with Brandt and Frei in favor. Duman is absent.
9:30 a.m. Gene Meinen regarding the need for putting out some bids for rock in the Woodland area, Riggins and Elk City-Riggins and Elk City will have to be purchased and transported. Meinen advises they have some graveling projects in other various areas as well. Meinen advises that he met with Carrot Ridge Fire Dept-the costs of upgrading their location in exchange for storage of equipment and use of restroom facilities are estimated at around $5000-discussion. Frei questions the status of funding in the Road Dept. in general-Meinen advises that the levy will generate approximately half of what was lost through SRS-he is working to monitor spending-discussion. Meinen commends Jerry Zumalt regarding his work on all of the FEMA road repair projects-discussion.

Additional meetings-Brandt-CBC for next week has been cancelled.
9:53 a.m. Ron Funke updates Commission on meeting in Boise last week on the Pacific Coast Salmon Recovery Fund-he is on the ISWCD Board-various projects were funded for the Idaho Soil & Water Conservation District-two are culvert projects in Idaho County-Sears Creek and Clear Creek-funding amounts to about $176,000 for Idaho County.
