JANUARY SESSION JANUARY 5, 2021 FIRST TERM DAY
8:45 a.m. The board convened with Commissioners Skip Brandt, Mark Frei and Denis Duman and Kathy Ackerman, Clerk present.
The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Commissioner Duman offered an opening prayer.
Additional meetings-Brandt-January 15-WIR/NACo Public Lands, January-28-CBC Work Group; Duman-January 6-Ida-Lew, January 9-Republican Party Winter Meeting, January 21-CEDA and CMC.
Brandt moves to approve the contract with the Idaho Dept. of Corrections Vocational Work Project. Duman seconds. Motion carries with all in favor.
Brandt moves to approve the appointment of Shanna Legg as Chief Deputy Assessor. Duman seconds. Motion carries with all in favor.
Brandt moves to approve the Order of Cancellation as per Abbie Hudson. Duman seconds. Motion carries with all in favor.
Brandt moves to approve the minutes of December 29. Duman seconds. Motion carries with all in favor.
Brandt moves to approve the wage increase for Megan Turner for appointment to Commercial Appraiser. Duman seconds. Motion carries with all in favor.
Brandt moves to approve the Alcoholic Beverage Licenses for Three Mile, Canyon House, Heavens Gate Brewery/Summervilles, Keuterville Pub and Grub, Wolf Track Brewing, and Seasons Restaurant. Duman seconds. Motion carries with all in favor.
9:11 a.m. Denis Duman regarding property at Elk City that is owned by BLM and currently being used by the Road Department. Discussion regarding the BLM lease form that needs to be submitted before the BLM can move forward with selling the property to the County. Ackerman will work on fine tuning and have this ready for signature next week.
9:17 a.m. Brandt moves to go into Executive Session pursuant to Idaho Code 74-206(1) b for Personnel. Duman seconds. Roll call-District 1-yes; District 2-yes; District 3-yes
