SPECIAL SESSION                   February 21, 2011

3:10 p.m. The board convened with Commissioners Skip Brandt and James Rockwell present. Also present were Jerry Zumwalt, Randy Doman, Dave Poncin, Kathy Hedberg and Bob Fogerty.

Discussion regarding the proposal to initiate an Idaho County jobs program for fire proofing in the forests, using redirected SRS/RAC funding through 2012—could result in 50-60 part-time jobs at a time when unemployment is at 12%.  Dave Poncin will get back to us with specific proposal for board approval.
