IDAHO COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 28
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF IDAHO, PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF IDAHO COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 18. AND THE DISSOLUTION OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE COUNTY OF IDAHO; PROVIDING FOR THE ORDINANCE BEING EFFECTIVE UPON ITS PASSAGE APPROVAL AND PUBLICATION.
WHEREAS, there has been and Idaho County Planning and Zoning Commission in existence for approximately ten years; and
WHEREAS, several planning and zoning commission members have publicly stated their opposition to any public land use planning; and
WHEREAS, a number of planning and zoning commission members have resigned, stating that nothing could be accomplished by the planning zoning commission, due to deep philosophical divisions, harassment, and disruption of meetings ;and
WHEREAS, at the most recent meeting of Idaho County Planning and Zoning Commission on January 16th, 1986, a majority of its members voted to disband the commission:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF IDAHO COUNTY, IDAHO, AS FOLLOWS:
Section1. That Idaho County Ordinance No.18 be, and the same hereby is, repealed.
Section 2. Upon the adoption of this ordinance, the Idaho County Planning Commission, is hereby dissolved and any duties of any person operating under such planning commission are hereby suspended.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective upon its passage, approval and publication according to law.
This ordinance was passed at a regular meeting of the Idaho County Commission held on this 25th day of February, 1986
