The Idaho County Dispatch center is staffed by six dispatchers and one supervisor and has personnel on duty 24 hours a day to assist you. This dispatch center is the only 24-hour center in Idaho County and dispatches for all Law Enforcement, Fire and Medical agencies within the county.

Every call is important to us and your patience is appreciated if we must ask you to hold, as the dispatcher on duty may be working alone.

When calling in an emergency, please remain calm and be prepared to answer several questions for the dispatcher relating to the who, what, when, where, why and how of the incident. These questions will assist them in providing you with the appropriate assistance in the fastest manner.

If you dial 911 by mistake, please do not hang up!! Stay on the line and speak with the dispatcher, we understand that accidents happen.
