IDAHO COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 18
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF IDAHO, PROVIDING FOR THE RECONSTITUTION AND APPOINTMENT OF THE IIDAHO COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION; PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTMENT IN STAGGERED TERMS OF PARTICULAR INDIVIDUALS TO SUCH PLANNING COMMISSION; PROVIDING FOR THE DISSOLUTION OF ANY PRIOR PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE COUNTY OF IDAHO; PROVIDING FOR THE ORDINANCE BECOMING EFFECTIVE UPON ITS PASSAGE, APPROVAL AND PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF IDAHO COUNTY, IDAHO, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: There is hereby designated, a commission to carry out the purposes of Title 67 Chapter 65 of the Idaho Code relating to local planning which commission shall be known hereafter as the Idaho County Planning Commission.
Section 2: The following persons are hereby appointed as original members of the said Idaho County planning Commission for the period of time set opposite their names with the appointment to become effective retroactively from and after January 15, 1980 until such appointment by their terms expire.

Section 3: As indicated above, such Idaho County Planning Commission shall be made up of twelve (12) members with staggered terms as set out above. The initial two (2) vacancies occurring above and all other vacancies that shall from time to time occur shall be filled by the Idaho County Board of Commissioners upon written motion or resolution having been adopted.
Section 4: The operation and further appointment of the Idaho County Planning Commission unless otherwise altered herein, shall be in accordance with the provisions of Title 67 Chapter 65 Idaho Code and particularly governed by Section 67-6504.
In the event any Planning Commission member shall have three (3) consecutive unexcused absences such fact shall constitute and immediate ground froe the removal from the commission of such person. Removal under those circumstances shall be by the Board of County Commissioners at their next regularly scheduled County Commissioners Meeting following the third consecutive unexcused absence.
Section 5: Upon the adoption of this ordinance, the previous Idaho County Planning Commission, that function prior to the date hereof, is eliminated and any duties of any persons operating under the previous Planning Commissions, are hereby suspended.
Section 6: This ordinance shall become effective upon its passage, approval and publication in accordance with law.
This Ordinance passed at a regular meeting of the Idaho County Commission held on this 16thday of April, 1980.
