Absentee Voting

Idaho law provides for absentee voting for registered voters.

Voters who wish to vote early, or will be unable to vote at their precinct in the upcoming elections, may vote by mail or at the Election’s Department.

Absentee/early voting traditionally begins three to six weeks prior to election dates. Call (208) 983-2751 to confirm dates.

Those wishing to vote absentee by mail must first submit an Application for Absent Elector’s Ballot form, request by letter including your name, address, and the address you would like the ballot to be mailed to OR request a ballot online by going to VoteIdaho.  The request must be received by our office 11 days prior to the election day.  The request letter must include your signature(s).  All parties requesting a ballot form must sign the letter of request. The completed application can be delivered by mail, or in person, to Idaho County Elections Department, 320 West Main Street, Rm 5, Grangeville Idaho 83530.

The below Absentee Requests will be good for one calendar year.
